Online Training

Online training with ArbTrack Australia is where a student or a group of students are issued direct access (via email) to our online training & assessment portal; aXcelerate.

More often than not, refresher/ reaccreditation that does not require a ‘practical’ assessment, can be done via aXcelerate. If online training is an option for you/ your staff, we will offer it at the point of booking.

This may save a substantial amount of down time for your business.

‘Blended’ training with ArbTrack Australia is where a student or a group of students are issued direct access (via email) to our online training & assessment portal; aXcelerate.

Blended training requires both theoretical & written assessment (via aXcelerate) but, also, there is a practical training & assessment portion required also, which we call ‘face-to-face’ training.

When you book blended training, we will provide all students access via email to aXcelerate, and we will also book time for the students to undertake face-to-face practical assessment with a trainer.

Some practical training & assessment will only need a short time for assessment, whereas other training may require a full day (it will vary depending on your training needs & student competency).

In order for blended training to run successfully, all students attending must successfully complete their online assessments by the due date provided within your booking. Failure to do so may mean that the face-to-face training & assessment cannot be completed and will need to be postponed/ rebooked. All theory portions of training must be completed prior to the face-to-face portion.

Online training is just that, online. Each student will need to have access to a functioning computer, smart phone or tablet and access to emails in order to sit online training.

Online training is not suitable for everybody

We understand that some students are better suited to traditional ‘face-to-face’ training, rather than online training.

Online training does not offer direct contact with a trainer like face-to-face training does.

Students must be able to navigate the training software, successfully read, interpret and answer all questions within their assessments on their own, without direct assistance of our training staff (employers are welcome to assist students to get through, but cannot under any circumstances give students answers or do the assessments for students).

This is something that you, as an employer need to take into very careful consideration prior to booking online training for your staff.

It is a condition of our online bookings that employers accept responsibility to ensure that online training is suitable for their staff.

Firstly, it is vital that you consider whether online training is going to be suitable for you/ your staff members before you book.

Additional fees will be applied if online training is found to be unsuitable for a student/s after the online/ blended booking has been made.

When you make a training enquiry with our staff, if online training or blended online training is an option, the booking staff will offer that as an option for you at that time.

Please keep in mind, not all training is available online, especially initial training that requires practical training & assessment.

Easy sorted! Book the student with us to undertake traditional, ‘face-to-face’ training.

10 days from the date of access being issued.

If the training is blended and will take place within the 10 days, we will issue a sooner due date so that we can assess and mark the assessments before the face-to-face training is sat.

2 attempts.

If a student fails one assessment, our trainers will mark what they have answered incorrectly and re-issue the assessment within the training portal with notes for them to take into consideration ahead of their second attempt.

A guide to managing your account including accepting your invitation and logging in can be found here

For existing trainees using the online platform, there is a Help Centre which can assist with

  • Navigating the platform
  • Working through assessments
  • Working through additional attempts
  • Messaging – direct communication with your trainer
  • Saving your assessment

Most often, certificates are issued within days of assessments being completed by students and marked by our trainers.

Certificates are issued within the 30-day time period that Registered Training Organistation’s are required to provide them by- permitting that full payment has been received.
